L’Oréal and Galderma are in daily contact with dermatologists to bring medical and cosmetic solutions to their patients.

Within the scope of the 22^nd World Congress of Dermatology developed under the auspices of ILDS (May 24-29, 2011 in Seoul), L’Oréal and Galderma, Diamond Sponsors of this event, have created The International Awards for Social Responsibility in Dermatology. 

The aim of these awards is to reward voluntary dermatological initiatives, coming from individuals, associations or hospitals: any innovative community project which offers benefits to patients in the areas of prevention, quality of life, access to care and social insertion.

This international award will bring five projects in five continents to the forefront. Laureates will be selected by an international Scientific Committee of five key opinion leaders in Dermatology. They will receive a grant of 15 000 $ to allow them to continue their work to improve their patients’ quality of life. The closing date for application files is Monday April 11th 2011; the names of the winners will be known on April 24th 2011, and officially communicated at the 22^nd  World congress of Dermatology in Seoul.

In order to have as many candidates as possible from all parts of the world, L’Oreal and Galderma seek support from all Dermatological Societiesin conveying this call of applications to all their members.
